What is QUATIC?

The International Conference on the Quality of Information and Communications Technology (QUATIC) serves as a forum for disseminating advanced methods, techniques and tools for supporting quality approaches to ICT engineering and management. Practitioners and researchers are encouraged to exchange ideas and approaches on how to adopt a quality culture in ICT process and product improvement and to provide practical studies in varying contexts. Information on previous editions can be found here.

Publication and Indexation

Previous editions have been published by CPS (from 2007 onward), and CEUR (until 2004) and are included in IEEEXplore, Scopus/Elsevier, ACM Digital Library, and DBLP. The American Society for Quality has partnered with QUATIC in the publication of special issues in the Software Quality Professional journal. See more detailed impact statistics here.

Call for Participation

We invite researchers and practitioners to participate in this conference, and join us at Lisbon in September 2016! The Conference Program is organized on a series of Thematic Tracks, each corresponding to a specific topic of interest. To foster the dissemination of best practices in industry and to allow a lively discussion of hot topics and quality concerns we will have a dedicated Business Day. The Doctoral Consortium of Portuguese Software Engineering Students (SEDES) will provide an opportunity for doctoral students to present and discuss their thesis work with faculty and peers and network with other researchers in the field.

Location

QUATIC 2016 will be held in the Lisbon area. Watch this teaser on Lisbon!
